Annual dues are currently $75 for an Active membership. Membership is due May 1 each year.  New members who join between January 1 and March 31 pay a reduced membership fee of $50 for the balance of the registration year.  A full year membership is then due May 1.  New members who join in April will pay $75 for a membership that will end April 30 of the following year.  This is an offer to first time members only.

Your membership dues pay for:

  • artist demonstrations at our monthly meetings;
  • meeting rooms;
  • memberships for North and West Van Arts councils;
  • banking charges;
  • website and software updates;
  • part-time business operations manager;
  • a small portion of our storage costs;
  • laptops;
  • liability insurance;
  • post office box;
  • Zoom membership for board meetings and a portion of our social budget.

While membership dues do not cover all these costs, we are fortunate we have term deposits creating additional income along with donations, which help offset our expenses. We have also been fortunate our programmes have brought in some extra income since we continue to do better than expected in our sales and paint groups.
