Pat Grass has enjoyed living or travelling in coastal B.C. her whole life. She and her husband have enjoyed many summers exploring the nooks and crannies of the Inside Passage in a small motorsailer. British Columbia has some of the most scenic natural coastal temperate areas of the world and using colourful acrylic paint on canvas, Pat has interpreted some of the places reached by boat in which they have anchored, transited, or explored. Subjects that hold really special interest are B.C.'s venerable and tenacious coastal trees, islands, the quiet depths of its inlets and bays, the reflections and clarity in still seas, and the crystalline look of splashing water. Their beauty is always inspirational. As a member of the North Shore Artists Guild, her work is often exhibited in its shows. Pat welcomes comments about her work.
