Cathy Roddie's Website

Cathy Roddie is a prolific artist who prefers plein air work in summer and studio painting in Winter. Born in England she married a Canadian and moved to Canada in 1964.  Cathy can be regularly found at Painters Landing in West Vancouver,  but she is a regular at beaches and parks on the North Shore and in Vancouver and has made many acquaintenances and met interesting folk whilst at work.  Her paintings now hang in several countries around the world.  Cathy is self taught and she choses her pallet according to the place, time of year and weather as you can see from the difference in the two pieces shown above. For local painting she often uses her tricycle to get around which produces as much interest as her art.
