Helen Ott

Helen's love of creating something with her hands started at an early age.  She eventurally designed and made wedding dresses and anything else that was a challenge.  Drawing and painting became her focus after taking many classes and workshops through the years.  She attributes her progress to taking 3 yrs. of classes through the FCA with such distinguished artists such as Alan Wylie, Donna Baspaly, Rick McDiarmid and so many others.  She finds painting a great adventure and hopes to portray to the viewer her love of nature and her surrounding environment.

Her paintings have been exhibited at The West Vancouver Memorial Library (2 people & 3 people shows), The Ferry Bldg., Silk Purse, West Vancouver Harmony Arts Festival, Squamish Gallery, Parkgate Community Center, Westend Community Center,  United Church Auctions and Capilano Mall and Park Royal Mall with the North Shore Artists Guild.

She has received a Juror's Choice Award and 5 Honourable Mention Awards with the West Vancouver Sketch Club and 1 Honourable Mention award with the FCA.
