Michael D Howey Artist - Biography
At an early age I became interested in drawing and painting. Many hours were spent exploring the world of art. I started to pursue my artist goals in my early twenties and began to create paintings of the world I love. However, my family took a great deal of my time and devotion over the next twenty years. Recently I have taken up my brushes again.
Active Member of the North Shore Artist Guild and the Federation of Canadian Artists. I have lived in the Mt Seymour / Deep Cove area of North Vancouver for the past 20 years. Vancouver Island was my childhood home growing up in Fanny Bay in the Comox Valley. My art has been influenced by the scenery and the communities of coastal of British Columbia.
