Maryam Rais Rohani, born in Tehran, Iran, graduated from the Islamic Azad University in Tehran with her Bachelor of Arts. After graduating, Maryam had the honour and privilege to spend several years teaching and training visual arts with numerous acclaimed local and international artists.
Maryam continues to provide private lessons and painting instruction throughout British Columbia.
Maryam has participated in 28 group exhibitions in Iran and North America, 2 biennial exhibitions in Iran and 3 solo exhibitions. She has received numerous awards including 2 juror choice awards in North America and 3 letters of praise in Iran.
Maryam has had her work published in several acclaimed art publications.
