Louise Nicholson

BIOGRAPHY

Louise paints in oils and acrylics, and also enjoys mixed media. She is particularly drawn to the play of light on her subject and loves to explore and experiment with colour.

Louise has always been creative, but it is only in the past few years that she has focused her efforts on 2-dimensional paintings. It is here that she has found her passion. She has taken workshops with many talented artists, as well as classes at the Emily Carr Institute of the Arts. She plans to continue her education in the arts.

An active member of the North Shore Artists' Guild and the Federation of Canadian Artists, Louise has shown her paintings through the Guild at the Harmony Arts Festival, Brewster's Cafe, Park Royal and Capilano Mall shows.

Louise happily accepts commissions.
