Jane Armstrong's Gallery

Jane has lived in West Vancouver all her life. She studied Art at Capilano College and started painting in watercolours and acrylics.  She now paints mainly in oils, when she discovered its buttery and rich texture.

Jane has traveled extensively in Europe over the years and has been inspired by the warm earthy tones in France and Italy which are very different from the refreshing cool and subtle colours of B.C. Jane also loves running the dogs  through Capilano Canyon and  traveling in the Caribou  where she gets her inspiration for her  landscapes.   She also loves to paint still life to capture the shape, colour and light of the objects. Jane  devotes full time painting in her home studio.
Jane is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and the North Shore Artists Guild, where she has received numerous Honourable Mention honours and Jurors Choice awards.  Her work can be found in private collections in California, Hong Kong, Colorado, B.C., Ontario and Alberta. 

Jane is Represented by Jenkins Showler Gallery in WhiteRock and Rendezvous Gallery in Vancouver.
