Biography

Jacquie’s favourite mediums are watercolours, gouache, inks and soft pastels. The buttery richness of the latter lends vibrance and depth to the paintings of woodland paths and heritage scenes of the North Shore as well as animals and people. Watercolours capture the ethereal quality of florals and the nostalgia of heritage homes.

Her works have been exhibited and sold through juried shows of the North Shore Artists Guild, the Harmony Arts Festival, the Ferry Building and Silk Purse Galleries, the FANS (Funding for the Arts on the North Shore) exhibition at Capilano College, the North Vancouver District Hall, the “Pastel 2000” exhibition at the Seymour Art Gallery, the new “CityScapes” gallery in lower Lonsdale, the “Beans on Lonsdale” coffee house and at the “Bakehouse” coffee shop in Edgemont Village.
