Greg and Eva Kawczynski were born in Poland. They met at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow where they both studied sculpture.
They worked as a team on jewelry design and fabrication projects.
Greg was involved in large scale work for national monuments in Poland. He also taught at the Academy in Krakow for few years before moving to Canada in 1988. At the moment Greg works a lot in clay, creating sculptures of animals. His favorite technique is Raku. He also draws and paints using various methods: pastels, charcoal, acrylics, water colour and oil.
Eva draws and paints, experimenting with acrylics, water colour and ink pens. She explores figurative and abstract forms and colour. Her goal is to achieve "pure form".
Greg's and Eva's hobbies include dancing, lawn bowling and watching movies; British mystery stories, Kurosawa's samurai stories and old European movies.
