Caroline Kuwica

Biography
About 10 years ago Caroline began to explore her life long interest in art and painting. Initially through sketch classes she eventually selected water colours as the preferred medium for her artistic gifts and expressions. She also enjoys exploring acrylics.
Among artists, water colours are considered one of the most challenging mediums to master. Despite its unforgiving nature, with precision the reward is a luminescence unattainable by other mediums, thus the intrigue beckons Caroline to her paints and paper several times a week as well as ongoing artist’s education.
Caroline finds her inspiration in nature and is driven by her desire to interpret these images through her art. Each endeavor is a dance where the outcome is a detailed expression and translation of how Caroline interprets nature’s beauty. Landscapes, seascapes, florals and nature scenes of all kinds are Caroline’s preferences.
Her paintings have been exhibited in North Shore Artists Guilds as well as the Ferry Building Gallery, West Vancouver Library, Harmony Art’s Festival and many hang in private collections across Canada the US and Australia. Since 2004 Caroline has been a member of the Canadian Federation of Artists. Currently, Caroline serves as an Executive Member of the North Shore Artists Guild.
